Women's Mysteries - Embracing Your Sacred Rhythms

$15.00

“Power does not come from having control or dominion over your body, but in finding harmony within it.” -My fiance, Jeff

This workshop will focus on the unique ecology and rhythms of each woman. We will discuss how to find balance within your life and body by examining the way you respond to your environment, hormones, food, stimulation, and other factors - both internal and external. When we fight our nature and needs, and overwhelm ourselves with ‘shoulds’ we deprive ourselves of the opportunity to connect with our body and truly flourish. Just as the moon waxes and wanes, so too do women. By believing we should be full and luminous only in specific ways at all times, we miss out on so much of our own beauty. While focusing so intently on where we ‘should’ be, we miss out on the joys of the present reality. We will discuss the science and physiology of women’s bodies, cycles, and hormones. We will then move into the deeper work of understanding each of us on a more personal level.

”Life is not about avoiding conflict. It is about learning to creatively respond to it.” How much of our energy is wasted on fighting opportunities that we perceive as shortcomings, or challenges?

I am listing this as a workshop, and not a class, because I do not have all of the answers for you and your body. What I have is a long list of questions and insights that I would like to explore with you. Together we will come up with a plan for gently examining and responding to the myriad nuances of you. Understanding doesn’t come from having the right answers, but in asking the right questions. That is what we seek to do here.

The exploration of self is an ever-evolving journey. If you are doing it right, there is no end point. Because of this I have created a private facebook group, so we can continue exploring and sharing our growth and insights, to inspire one another. I will give prompts to help us stay on track, and continue diving deeper.

We will touch on a wide variety of contributing factors for daily stress, fatigue, anxiety, and depression; everything from home and work life, relationships, diet, exercise, family, and expectations, to the ways we can de-clutter our lives physically, mentally, and emotionally.
